PROGRAM OVERVIEW

In addition to learning the essentials of being a professional makeup artist, Penny Sadler will also have the Nordstrom makeup counters from Chanel, Lancôme, and Clinque show us what are the new and exciting trends that we as consultants need to know to be cutting edge in the Image Industry.

Program objectives ~ participants will be able to:

  • List what products and brushes are a “must have” for any basic makeup artist or makeup kit and how to choose them.

  • Analyze the importance of proper sanitation and know how to properly clean makeup brushes as well as the proper use of disposable sponges and makeup brushes.

  • Identify 6 basic face shapes based on the “perfect oval” face.  List 3 strengths and 3 weaknesses of each of the 6 basic face shapes.

  • Determine the correct skin tone and choose the appropriate foundation color.

  • Choose the correct color cosmetics for each client. ( based on eye, skin and hair color)
